Last weekend, we walked the runway with the Alineo team at Madrid Fashion Week. We'd never seen a live runway before, and it was quite impressive.

Our feeling was that before the runway, each piece (the looks, the accessories, etc.) were separate elements, but the moment the show begins, everything comes together forever. The models' attitudes, the colors of the looks, the transparency and shapes of the accessories, the water covering them—everything becomes a single idea. It's beautiful to see how the work of many months and so many people is condensed into a 10-minute performance. You can see it here.
We've been planning this collaboration since November: working on mood boards and designs for the first few months, and the last month we've dedicated ourselves to generating the nearly 30 pieces that make up the collection.

The entire Lys collection is inspired by a mermaid core, and the concept of tides (low tide - high tide) gives structure to the collection. Since these are unique pieces, we wanted them to be large, with a presence in the look. One of the positive aspects of resin is that its lightness allows you to create quite large pieces, something that is difficult to achieve with metals.

The entire creative process has been, as always, very intuitive: soaking up references—moodboards, drawing and planning materials, modeling in clay or 3D and molds—sanding and varnishing.
We also played a lot with gradients, trying to maintain transparency but adding a touch of color, thus avoiding a collection that was too homogeneous. In other words, playing with shapes is the key when creating, but if everything is transparent, it can get a bit boring.

Rings for look 6
On the other hand, we did three sets of nails. We were really looking forward to it; we hadn't done any since Zowi's nails in 2022. Although it's true that we got stuck at certain points and weren't sure where to go next...

And, going a bit outside our usual format, we made a bag with a stud system that Lys suggested to us.

And Silvia, Pablo, Lys, Paula, Sasa, Run, Belen, Aina, Susana, Julia, and I put together an incredible and close-knit team. The looks matched perfectly, and even though we put in a lot of hours, everything went smoothly and we had a good laugh (except when we were hungry, which was a no-brainer, haha).

The great team in question - some are missing :(
Runway fashion has its advantages, but it gives you the freedom to create unique pieces. This allows you to focus on the atmosphere you want to create without having to spend too much time on the production side. And well, that's where a lot of imagination comes from.
A kiss,
Bruno
PS: I'll leave you some photos

Another great team
